Firs Hiding Utilities

These cedars grew wild out by the street where they would screen the utility boxes and pipes, so we let them grow.
The firs grew from nothing pretty quickly, considering they get no food nor water out by the street.

2004:
In this picture, the bed to the south of the mail box can be seen to be in full sun; however, trees to its right and behind it have grown up and the bed is in mostly shade now.
